As part of the New Ibero-American Cinema: Women Directors Call the Shots series, the film Boca Chica (2023), directed by Dominican filmmaker Gabriella A. Moses, was screened at the Instituto Cervantes in New Delhi on 15 July 2025.
The screening was presented by a representative of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in India, who also participated in the subsequent Cinema Forum, moderated by faculty member Jesús Gustavo Lozano Antolín.
Boca Chica offered audiences a moving coming-of-age story that explores the dreams and dilemmas of a young girl navigating life, identity, and womanhood on the vibrant shores of the Caribbean.
