Within the framework of the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, one of the region’s leading platforms for power generation and renewable energy, Mr. David A. Mármol, President of the India Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic, highlighted the importance of continuing to identify and promote opportunities for the business and commercial sectors within Dominican–Indian relations.
During the event, special recognition was extended to H.E. Francisco Comprés H. for his leadership and commitment, as well as to the entire team of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in India for their dynamism and excellence in hosting the delegation of Dominican business leaders participating in the summit.
Participation in this important gathering reaffirmed the commitment to strengthening ties between the Dominican Republic and India, while promoting access for the Dominican business community to new opportunities in investment, innovation, and technological cooperation.
The discussions also underscored the shared interest in bringing cutting-edge technology and sustainable solutions to strategic sectors for national development, recognising India as a global reference in innovation, growth, and energy transformation.
