Dominican Republic Participates in the Eighth Session of the International Solar Alliance Assembly

H.E. Francisco Comprés H. had the opportunity to participate in the Eighth Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly, where the Small Island Developing States (SIDS) reaffirmed their commitment to a sustainable energy transition through the establishment of the SIDS Platform.

This joint initiative of the International Solar Alliance and the World Bank Group seeks to promote innovative solar energy solutions, strengthen technical and financial cooperation, and enhance the climate and energy resilience of island nations.

Mr. Ernesto Acevedo, Director of Renewable Energy, represented the Dominican Republic during the session, reaffirming the country’s commitment to advancing renewable energy initiatives and sustainable development through international cooperation.
